with regular involvement in a Sunday School class.
There are opportunities in most every class
for additional social outreach and mission opportunities
through which deeper friendships and a closer bond
with the Church are formed.
Won’t you join us next Sunday?
Louisburg Baptist Church treasures
the children of our church.
In the Children’s Department
we strive to provide a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for our children to grow spiritually
and experience the love of Jesus
through Christian education.
We provide Sunday School from nursery to 5th grade.
You will find qualified and creative teachers
who love working with children
and make our Sunday School hour a time that
your children will look forward to each week.
In addition, we also offer opportunities
to participate in Vacation Bible School,
and other special events.
We focus on applying Jesus’ teachings
in their lives through music,
missions, crafts, and games.
Parents are encouraged
to get involved in a variety of ways.
Yearly events include
Vacation Bible School each summer,
A seat on the church’s float in the
Louisburg Christmas Parade,
Children’s Sunday each spring when
our children are the focus of the worship service,
and other planned outings
Our youth meet on Sunday evenings at 5:00 pm
and on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm in room 206.
Our goal is to give the youth
an environment in which to grow spiritually.
We want to give them the tools
to discover their own faith
rather than adopting the faith of others.
Faith is a personal, intimate thing
which we want to help the youth develop.
We want our youth at Louisburg Baptist Church
to be more than simply a group of youth.
We want them to be a fellowship,
a community, a mission group,
ambassadors for Christ,
and representatives for the church.
We want the youth at Louisburg Baptist Church
to be strong in their faith and to be able to express that faith not only within the group itself,
but also in their outward lifestyles as well.
