LBC Collection: September 1-30
The Food Roundup, which normally takes place in April, had to be postponed because of COVID-19. During this challenging time, BCH has remained open when others have not. The needs of abused, neglected and abandoned children don’t cease even in this time of crisis, and BCH cottage parents and staff have served in incredible ways to ensure their boys and girls have safe, caring homes. In cooperation with churches and associations throughout the state, this year's food drive is taking place in September. LBC will be among area churches, collecting for this important ministry. LBC members are asked to bring paper goods such as paper towels and toilet paper, hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, Clorox spray, laundry detergent, foil and plastic wrap, cooking oils and sprays, snack foods, crackers and ramen noodles. For a full list of items, go to www.bchfoodfoundup.org. or stop by the church office Tue - Thurs. for a copy. All items should be placed in the designated area in the Fellowship Hall.
