SMALL GROUPS

“As iron sharpens iron,

so one man sharpens another”

Proverbs 27:17

LBC’s small groups are where people meet

to study the Bible, fellowship, pray, minister, and grow together,

discussing the issues and challenges of life.

It’s a time where spiritual growth happens through

knowledge and application of God’s Word and where people pray for one another.

We believe that life transformation happens best through small group environments where people experience the love of Christ, care, accountability and belonging

through close personal relationships.

BAPTIST MEN

Our Baptist Men meet and fellowship the first Wednesday night of every month except July and December. The men, come out and enjoy a delicious supper prepared by several of our cooks. We will eat promptly at 5:30 and have a brief program starting around 6:00. We generally have a guest speaker every other month, the alternate months we have a brief devotional. We dismiss around 6:30 PM and ask participating men to contribute $7 to cover meal expense, the balance becoming part of our mission fund for assisting with needs and projects in the community.

If you are not attending our fellowship,

please consider coming out and being part of a great program.

You do not have to be a member to attend.

MID-WEEK BIBLE STUDY

Mid-week Bible study is held every Wednesday beginning at 1:00 pm. This small group welcomes both men and women and has been meeting over 15 years.  We delve into particular books of the Bible and often use some writings of Beth Moore and others. This is a very conversationalist group and we would love for you to join us in the Tomlinson Room on the first floor of the educational building if this fits your need

and schedule.

WOMEN OF PURPOSE

The Women of Purpose usually meet the first Monday evening

of each month for a time of fellowship, discussion of

upcoming opportunities for service within the church and community,

and for learning more about the purpose that God has for each of us!

During some meetings we may just fellowship over a meal,

we may have inspirational guest speakers, or we might work on a specific mission like filling goodie bags for our neighbors at the manor!

No matter what each meeting holds, we always leave more joyfully that we came!

It is important that each woman of the church understand

that she is both needed in order to fulfill God’s purpose

and wanted to be able to share in the joy of service to the Lord!

SERVICE AT THE MANOR

Louisburg Baptist Church has for many years conducted special services

at the local assisted living center, the Louisburg Manor located at 114 Smoke Tree Way.

A rotation of five different Sunday School teachers lead in prayer and Bible Study every Sunday morning at 9:30 am in the assembly room at the Manor.

The "Explore The Bible" series of Sunday School literature is used in this class.

We are delighted to be able to serve our community through this outreach ministry.

While some of the residents of the Manor are longtime members of our church, a wide variety of residents from many denominations and backgrounds enjoy

fellowship with us and each other at our Manor services.

Together, we give God the glory and exalt Jesus Christ, sharing in prayer,

Bible study, devotions, and good old-fashioned singing!

CORPORATE
PRAYER

Every Sunday Morning at 9:20am

all are invited to meet in the Parlor and pray for

 our "Church on Mission."
